Tax preparation & filing

A tax return should be the least worrying piece of paper you sign all year.

Prestige prepares and files returns for individuals and small businesses — including the years that got away and the letters that arrive afterwards. You'll know what's filed, what's owed, and why.

Personal returns · Business returns & books · Late filings and notices

Every file starts the same way: what you have, what you're missing, what happens next.

Why people stay

Care shows up in small, boring places.

Plain language

Every form, line and letter is explained before you sign anything. No acronyms left unexplained.

One checklist

Your documents live in one organised file with a running checklist, so nothing goes missing.

Deadlines watched

We track the dates that matter to your return and raise them with you in advance.

Answers, quickly

Messages are returned within one business day, and you always know who is handling your file.

What we handle

Everything a tax file can ask for, from one office.

Most people arrive with one thing — a return to do, a year that never went in, a letter they'd rather not open. Those things turn out to be connected, so they stay in one file with one person responsible.

Other ways to check your refund status

The website tracker is the one most people reach for, but it isn't the only route — and when you're on a phone rather than a laptop, one of these is usually quicker.

Online

Where's My Refund (IRS.gov)

The IRS's own refund tracker. It updates once a day, overnight, and shows the stage your return is at.

Check your refund with the IRS app

IRS2Go is the IRS's own free app, on iPhone and Android. Refund status is one of the things it does, and there's nothing to pay for.

Search your app store for IRS2Go.

Whichever route you use, have your Social Security number, filing status and the exact refund amount from the return ready — the system checks all three before it tells you anything. An amended return is tracked on its own line and asks for the date you filed.
